The Matter Of Perspective

 Earlier, some say the earth is flat some say the earth is spherical. Some say earth revolves around the sun, some say the sun revolves around the earth. The same color seems to be different to two different people(as in the case of colorblindness). As, if there are 5 people, then they saw the same car with 5 different angles or with 5 different perspectives.     

                               

These all are facts, which throw light on "perspective". Here I don't want to play with science, I love science as much I hate science. Here I discussed "perspective" into 2 stages. Let's unwrap these.

*Stage-1 Intraparent*

Shah Alam Khan and Mrinal were two great couples. Living a simple prosperous life. Shah Alam used to work as a writer for a newspaper and work mostly till midnight. They sometimes sit together for tea and snacks in the evening. But as we know "Man will be Man", he sticks with his phone i.e he devoted most of his time on mobile even when he was with her. Due to her curiosity, she looked at Shah Alam phone, He got angry, said "why are you peeking in my phone", you think I am doing chit-chat with others, did I have another relationship going on?, Don't ever try to have a glance at my phone, mind your own work.

Mrinal lens, she just wants to look at what he was doing(as she is a housewife, spending most of her time in maintaining the house and she gets only a few minutes with him to share a common thread), what is more, vital than his valuable time(Tea with his mistress)? she has no intention of judging her husband. She wants to start the conversation with him by poking herself into his stuff. She wants, that her husband Shah Alam should share something about his work, his articles, how he balances his workload. 

Shan Alam's lens, his wife disturbed him while doing work, poking her nose in every work of mine, why she doesn't mind her own business, although I am doing all this for her only, why she doesn't understand that I mostly busy with my stuff.

*Stage-2 Intrafamily*

Elizabeth living with his son(Jimmy) along with his daughter-in-law. They went shopping as jimmy wants a t-shirt for the upcoming party, so he took her mother along with him. Both of them were on their way to choosing a T-shirt, she asked "how's it?", he said, "no, mama get another one". After spending more time she asked "how's this one, jimmy?", "What mama, you have an old taste like yourself". You leave it, I can choose myself. 

After buying a T-shirt, Jimmy saw a pizza store and said "go and grab some pizza, mama". They went there, selecting according to their own tastebuds, but "mother will always be a mother", she said, "let's buy this combo pizza, so that you can save your money". Jimmy says "are you stupid, we have to spend sometimes recklessly".

 While coming back home, she said "Jimmy, put on your seat-belt while driving", he said, "don't teach me, mama, I know all the rules, sometimes I follow, sometimes I don't, so take care of yourself". As soon as they reached home, she starts making food for him, she thought jimmy must be hungry. When Jimmy entered, he saw his mother in the kitchen, he said "I think you have forgotten your hygiene habits, we must have to clean ourselves before engaging in anything". Although she had washed her hand when jimmy parking his car.

Jimmy's field of vision, His mother becomes old and along with age, her thinking capacity is also deteriorating.  

Elizabeth's perspective, Jimmy will remain his child, even though he has become taller, more healthy, start earning, but he remains his 10year old young boy, who still doesn't know, how things happen.

This is just the tip of an ice burg, there are uncountable numbers of eyes carrying their own perspective. Each one of them wore their own spectacles. The more they see, the more they learn, the more chances of arising conflicts. I think this could be the reason for the misunderstanding between the two. 

Perspective can produce an immense effect on our lives, a similar situation seems to be difficult for him, while the same situation seems easy for others, isn't it astonishing?. Being an observer is one of the pronounced qualities I admire because he tries to see the situation from many different angles.

The more enthusiastically we used to watch porn, with similar enthusiasm we should try to see/to perceive every possible corner of the situation to put the solution in our basket or to remove the conflicts that arose just because of a distinct "perspective".

At last, I would only suggest "be an observer", don't try to see only one face of the moon, sometimes we should try to turn the table by simply changing our perspective. The game of profit/loss, win/loss can be changed by merely changing our perspective.

while I was writing this blog, one question seems to be interrupting me again, and again, can we link the word "perspective" with "empathy"? can we connect them both? just think because these words are one of the finest words in the English dictionary.
